Introducing Jawty

Following the success of the North Primary School Robot Club at the national finals of the VEX IQ Robotics competition, our team has qualified for the Vex Robotics World Championship in Kentucky. Winning the prestigious Excellence Award is the highest award presented in the VEX IQ Challenge. It recognises the team that exemplifies overall excellence in creating a high quality robotics programme and excels in every area - a shining example of dedication, devotion, hard work and teamwork as well as all the technical elements required to impress the judges. We are very proud of the team’s achievements and the way in which our roboteers demonstrated the ethos that is found throughout the school everyday; working hard as a team, supporting each other, demonstrating strong leadership skills and putting into practice everything they are learning. We look forward to building on the team’s success at the world championship and are hoping to secure corporate sponsorship to allow them to take part in the event, which will be a fantastic opportunity for the team and for developing STEM activities for the whole school View all posts by North Roboteers
